Atlona Technologies, a leading manufacturer of AV connectivity products, has announced the official release of their newest high quality HDMI 1.3 Audio De-Embedder designed for users to isolate high quality digital audio signal from multiple HDMI sources. The AT-HD577 is an advanced, professional version of the previous AT-HD570. The AT-HD577 offers a number of options for re-routing the audio including standard stereo (RCA) audio, digital coaxial, and optical. This new, advanced Audio De-embedder gives you the availability to remove the audio from your HDMI source so that you can re-route it to a secondary audio output device. The stand out feature of this unit is the fact that offers 2x1 HDMI switching for applications requiring easy access to multiple HDMI sources such as HDMI home theater systems and PC HDMI/DVI devices.

The AT-HD577 offers high bit rate HDMI 1.3 data that can scale down the color depth, allowing compliancy with HDMI 1.2 and DVI 1.1 in order to ease the limitation of the transmission distance and gain higher compatibility to the display without noticeable video degradation. The beneficial purpose of replacing the AT-HD577 with RCA instead of the AT-HD570’s 3.5mm ports was specifically for the purpose of more conventional audio ports for easier connection to you home theater, or alternative audio sources. To broaden the spectrum of HDMI audio output, high quality 7.1 channel analog audio outputs and stereo S/PDIF in both Toslink and RCA connectors are seamlessly integrated into this new unit.

Atlona Technologies Announces the Release of their Newest SDI Converters for the Broadcasting Community.

Atlona Technologies officially releases two new SDI Converters for the Broadcasting Community, the AT-SDI220 and AT-SDI230




Atlona Technologies, solutions based manufacturer of Audio Video accessories, has just announced the release of their newest SDI Converters for the Broadcast and Security market. These new SDI converters are the AT-SDI220 and the AT-SDI230. The AT-SDI220 is an analog video to SDI converter with audio. The AT-SDI230 is designed for those looking to go the opposite direction, acting as a SDI to Analog video converter with audio.





Atlona’s AT-SDI220 is designed to convert 1 x component analog (3 x BNC input), S-video (2 x BNC input), and 1 x composite video (1 x BNC input), to up to two SDI outputs. In addition, this unit supports resolutions of 525i at 30hrz and 635i at 25hrz. An essential benefit of the AT-SDI220 is the ability to convert an output from a video camera or security camera, and feed it directly into the desired SDI capture device.

The AT-SDI230 is designed to convert a single SDI input to 1 x SDI loop out, 1 x component analog output, an S-Video output, and a composite video output. A unique feature to the SDI230 is its ability to support NTSC/PAL/SECAM. This unit is ideal for users looking to convert an output from a video mixer or camera in order to view on a local display or to feed the needed information into the capture card for recording.

These SDI converter feature phoenix audio connections, giving them the capability of 2 channel audio with the support of 525i30 and 625i25 formats. Input formats for both models can be selected by the dip switches located on the sides of each device. Atlona Technologies Releases New 3G/HD/SD-SDI Pattern Generator supporting resolutions up to 1080p

Atlona Technologies, solutions based manufacturer of Audio Video connectivity products, has announced the release of their newest signal generator designed to test Audio Video systems using SD-SDI, HDSDI, or 3GSDI formats. The AT-3GSDI500 is an advanced SDI pattern generator from their previous AT-HDSDI500, now with multi-format (3G/HD/SD) and multi-pattern support. Atlona has spared no expense with the AT-3GSDI500 signal generator; packed with a variety of features provided such as still and motion video test patterns, and audio (SMPTE-291M), to name a few. These Signal Pattern Generators allow broadcast professionals the affordable solution to test existing 3G/HD/SD-SDI infrastructures as well as compatibility when adding components, cameras, and cabling.

The 3GSDI500 supports a wide variety of output resolutions ranging from 525 at 60 Hz for SD-SDI to 1080P at 60 Hz for 3G-SDI with 14 other options in between. This unit is capable SD- 270Mbps for SDI, 1.485Gbps and 1.4835Gbps HD-SDI, and 2.97Gbps or 2.967Gbps for 3G-SDI. Users will find the unit easy to operate due to its simple to navigate LCM and a four button panel. The AT-3GSDI500 can support up to 8 channel AES compliant audio with a 48KHz sample rate. Another attractive feature is the ability to bypass the HDMI input and allowing users more testing patterns for connected displays. This will also treat the AT-3GSDI500 as an advanced HDMI to SDI converter with 3G capability. The unit also features dual 3G capable SDI outputs allowing the simultaneous testing of multiple signal pathways.
